Production

 

On November 31, 2007 we began principle photography of the 18-minute short based on the feature length script of Shadow Box, written by Kim Pritekel.
It was a four day shoot, wrapping on December 3rd. Post production ran over the following month, and the short film Shadow Box premiered at Damon Runyon Theatre in Pueblo, Colorado on January 13, 2008.

Christa first got into theatre eight years ago in high school. She has loved it ever since, and received her AA in Theatre last year. Christa has performed with the PPCC Masquers and Attitudes Repertory Theatre. She has also been doing improvisational and stand up comedy with The Suburban Stage Munkys in Colorado Springs.

Kasha Fauscett

Kasha knew from a young age that she was born to entertain, having put on shows and skits for family and friends.  She's been in numerous short films where she has played both leads and supporting, as well as some theater.  She is a first generation American of Polish descent, and can speak fluent Polish.

Erin Amy Hansen

Amy has known she wanted to be an actress since before she could read lines. She has been
involved in several productions over the years as an actress, writer, and producer. She is
the Vice President of Highest Star Productions in Salt Lake City, UT. This will be her first
film in what she hopes will be a long and successful acting career.

Vincent (young)

Russell Mills

Russ has appeared in leading and supporting roles in several indy shorts and features in recent years along with Commercial and Industrial Film work. Prior to his on camera work, Russ worked and trained theatrically especially loving the 5 years he spent performing children's theater with the Kennedy Center's Imagination Celebration in Colorado Springs.

Shawn

Nicholas Schmid

Nick first caught the acting bug in a second grade play. He has performed at several theater houses throughout Colorado, including the Arvada Center for Performing Arts. This is Nick's first film, and he couldn't be happier. He hopes to be directing films and performing stunt work in the near future.

Vincent (older) Peder Fedde

Peder has worked as a Certified Public Accountant, Bank Operations Supervisor, a College Administrator, a Real Estate Agent, Home restoration expert, Organist and Actor. He has acted in Hollywood films, Independent films, Student films and local and National commercials, and is a composer, composing classical music and music for musical theater. He resides in Hollywood California, but currently living in Colorado for a few months - remodeling his parents home.

Tawni Turner

Tawni, age 14, is a native of Pueblo, CO.  Tawni sings in both her church and school choirs, plays the flute, and has acted in local productions of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," and "Grease."  Tawni enjoys playing volleyball for her school, and has been named Queen Server as well as Most Valuable Player.

Tamson (age 9) Taylor Roberts

Taylor has been full of life ever since she was born. Being raised in a military environment most of her life is never easy. She was in the T.A.G. program (talented and gifted) at her school, and she's made A Honor Roll. After her first fashion show, Taylor knew what she wanted to be when she grew up... an actress and a model. Taylor studies acting and fashion modeling with DVA Talent.

Emma is six and lives in Northern Colorado with her mom, dad, brother, and Beagle, Ed. She takes ballet and is an advanced yellow belt in karate. She will soon dance the role of an angel in the Longmont Dance Theatre’s production of The Nutcracker.

I have always loved putting together skits, programs, etc. and have never been afraid to be on stage or in front of the camera. I love acting and hope this will be a professional career. I have decided to take off a year since graduation and work the acting market. When I decide to go to college, I want to major in Child Psychology and a minor in Theatrical Production, or visa versa.

Asp Films
Established in 2006 by Kim Pritekel and Kelly Neal. Both had the desire to create quality independent feature films.

  • Kim Pritekel is a writer, producer and director.  She has published four novels and has contracts for three more.  She wrote the screenplay for the film, Legend of the Red Reaper, currently in production, as well as for Breach of Contract. She was the script supervisor for the short Kalia and is co-producer and writer of the short  The Lightning Project.
  • Kelly Neal is an accomplished musician who has worked in the music industry for over 30 years. She has worked as musical director for several student films, live theatrical events and has done demo work for songwriters writing for groups such as the Miami Sound Machine. Kelly is scheduled to be the production manager for the film Breach of Contract and is co-producing the short film The Lightning Project.

Ashley is a producer, director, writer, and cinematographer. He has been the CEO of Iniosante Studios, in New Braunfels, Texas, since 2004.

Gail Bowen

Gail Bowen is a Stunt Coordinator, Stunt Performer, and an Actress. She also has credits as a Producer and a Director.  She has worked on such feature films as Miami Vice, Casino Royale, Reno 911, Hoot, Ripper, and television shows like Hogan Knows Best, South Beach,  El Show De El Gordo Y La Flaca, Mi Adorado Malena, along with dozens of Commercials and Music Videos.  Gail also works for Bobby Ore Motorsports as a Driving Instructor teaching Stunt Performers, Law Enforcement and Government Agencies.  She is a retired Police Major.

CRASH Productions is a studio complex housing the remix producer and composer Mike E. Beever. Mike has been recording, producing and writing for over 20 years and  specializes in atmospheric soundtracks. He creates film soundtrack electronica and classical jazz piano, as well as producing his own brand of Electronica, Ambient, Classical and Instrumental music.
